Projects

Projects and spaces

A project is the basic unit of the dashboard and covers one market in one language. Its space decides who owns it and who can work on it.

Spaces and projects

Account
Every account comes with one personal space and can join any number of team spaces.
Space
Credit balance, storage, subscription and project limit, and members are all counted per space.
Project
One market and one language of one brand. Its documents, positioning, insights, content and media are kept separate.
  • Every account comes with a personal space, and projects in it are visible only to you. Joining a team adds that team’s space, and one account can join several teams.
  • A space holds any number of projects, which share its credit balance and storage. How many projects a personal space runs depends on its plan; see Project limits and archiving.
  • A project covers one market in one language for one brand, so the same brand in two markets is two projects.
  • A team space is shared by the team’s members. A project’s Visibility can be Everyone on the team or Only specific people, and only the project’s creator and team admins can change it.
  • Once you’ve joined a team, you can move a project from your personal space with Move to team. A moved project can’t go back to your personal space.
  • The space switcher in the top bar changes the current space and shows its name, type and credit balance.

Create a project

In Project management, click New project. If you don’t have a project yet, the button reads Create your first project. Subscribers and team spaces only choose a market and enter a brand name; the rest is looked up and filled in.

Each field shows its source and stays editable, and anything you typed yourself is left alone. Adding the website makes the lookup more accurate, and lookups cost no credits.
Region
Required. Choose North America, Europe, China, Southeast Asia or the Middle East.
Market and language
Required. The options depend on the region you chose. The language follows the market by default, and content is produced in it.
Brand name
Required. The agents call your brand by this name in copy, so enter the brand itself, without a market or other suffix.
Website
Optional. A website, app store or product page; when given, the lookup relies on it first.
Product description, target audience, brand voice
Optional context that helps the agents understand the product. Subscribers and team spaces get them filled in automatically; without a subscription, enter them yourself.
Platforms
Preselected for the market. Once the brand is found, and if you haven’t changed the selection, they switch to the platforms the lookup suggests, each with a reason. Choose from Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, X, LinkedIn and Facebook. When the market is China, you can also choose WeChat Channels, Douyin, Xiaohongshu, Bilibili, Kuaishou and Weibo.

Project progress and menus

The project list shows a progress bar with four stages (create project, positioning, market research and Content Marketing) and a shortcut to the next step.

Items in the left menu unlock as the project moves along. Positioning appears once the project exists. Market Insights, Content Marketing and Learning Log appear after you adopt the positioning profile. Items that haven’t unlocked stay hidden.

Use the project switcher in the sidebar to change the current project. Every page shows the current project.

Project limits and archiving

  • How many projects a personal space runs at once depends on its plan: 2 without one, and each plan’s limit is on the pricing page. Team spaces have no limit.
  • One project covers one market in one language for one brand, so a brand in both Chinese and English markets takes two.
  • When the limit is reached, clicking New project first lists the space’s projects and when each was last updated; Archive the ones you no longer use there.
  • Archived projects don’t count. Their reports, concepts, videos and publishing packs stay readable, but no task can start or continue; archiving ends tasks that are running or waiting for review.
  • Switch the project list to Archived and click Restore to bring a project back, as long as you have room.
  • Click Delete in the project list to remove a project from it. A deleted project doesn’t count toward your limit and its materials no longer use your storage. Deleting can’t be undone, so make sure you no longer need the project first.
  • After a downgrade or when a subscription ends, existing projects keep working, but you can’t create or restore projects until you’re back under the limit.

Media library

In a project’s row, click Media library to upload and manage the project’s own footage and images. Video production can draw on them.

Storage is counted per space, includes only what you upload, and is shared by every project in the space. Without a subscription it is 2 GB; each plan’s storage is on the pricing page. When it’s full, uploads stop until you click Clean up old materials in the media library or delete materials you no longer use.

Select videos or images you uploaded in the Media library and click Get insights for selected. After you confirm the estimated credits, AI reviews the footage and returns a one-line summary, usable clips, key on-screen text, what the footage can support and risk flags. Insights are billed by actual usage, a failed run is not charged, and the same file gets insights and is charged only once.

When you import a video, the Trim video window has an AI insights switch. When it is on, saving sends the clips within the length limit to AI at the estimated credits shown in the window, and a failed run is not charged. When it is off, the clips are simply saved without insights.

Once insights are ready, AI names each material you haven’t renamed after what it shows, and fills an empty note you haven’t written with its summary. These are marked AI named and AI written. Click a name or note to edit it in place: press Enter or click elsewhere to save, or Esc to cancel. AI never overwrites a name you changed or a note you wrote.

Expand a row with the arrow for insight details. Unless your note already is the AI summary, the details open with it; click Use as note to replace your note with it, and undo within a few seconds if you change your mind. For now insights mainly help you understand your materials, and the recognized type may update a material’s type label. Choosing materials for a video by their content is not available yet; once it is, your own notes will come first.

Members

Team admins switch to the team space, then manage people from Members in the avatar menu.

  • Invite people with an invite link. You can copy or regenerate the link, and it stops working once it expires.
  • The seat count shows how many seats you’ve used out of your limit.
  • There are two roles, admin and member. Use Make admin or Remove admin to change someone’s role.
  • A removed member loses access immediately. Projects they created stay with the team.
